Hello and Welcome to the Neko Press Club! This club is dedicated to Billy Martinez, and his unpredictable, yet artistic, students. Your guess is correct (or maybe it's not). We are NOT Billy Martinez, we are a CLUB dedicated to him and the classes he teaches. Please do not snap at us, as we are doing the best we can to upkeep this CLUB for Billy. It's kinda' like an Ad, I guess, to get people to go to his classes as well.

General News (UPDATED!)

Good morning everyone. I know it's been a while since we've updated, and it's been even longer since we've actually been on. XD But here we are, and we are not dead. Anyway, quick updates: We'll be updating more frequently, for starters. I'm probably just a perfectionist but I've been wanting to screw around with the submission system...you know, make it easier. I'll have to run it by the Main Mod before anything though, so I'll keep you updated on that.

Who is Billy Martinez?

Billy Martinez is the Publisher and Owner of Neko Press Comics, and has been in the art business since '96. He is credited with working on Heavy Metal Magazine, and Sci-Fi Channel's The Chronicle. His own works include:

He can be seen at the San Diego Comic Con, selling merchaindise and whatnot. Currently, he has his own Cartooning class in San Diego everyday except Sundays & possibly Thursdays. He teaches all ages, as long as they are willing to learn. If you're interested and live in SD, check out the website, and give him a call. It's much appreciated. But you might want to hurry; slots fill in quickly.

Yeah, Ok. So, what kind of art should I submit?

Anything is fine as long as it has to do with Neko Press or Billy. It could be fan art of his characters, parody's of his comics, photos of things that happened in his classes, ect. Just make sure it's all appropriate and clearly has a warning on it before being submitted. If it doesn't, it will be ignored. You can even draw Billy himself. I would, the man needs his daily dose of love. As soon as this club gets members, gallery categories will be put up. No worries. Prose and poetry are also accepted.

And to submit?

To submit your art, just send a note with a link to the deviation to either here, or one of the Mods. Just don't expect a reply. Also when you submit, please put what category you want it to be sent in. (ex. Fanart, Photos, Poetry/Prose...) That way, it'll be easier for us. We'd perfer no scraps, but rather, pieces in which you plan on doing nothing more to it. Pencil is fine, just erase guidelines and such. And make it clean please. Thanks.

And how do I join?

To join is extremly easy. All you have to do, is request to join through a note to either here, or one of the mods and tell one of us which day and time you have Billy's Class, if you have is class at all. If you don't, then that's fine and please tell us one way or the other. When you are accepted (which will be a reply back to your note), you could DevWatch the club. You don't have to, but if you want to keep up to date on everything here you can. It would also help incase we forget to post up your very beautiful art. XD Then you'd be able to nag us until we do. We'd also appreciate it if you put a link to the club in your sig, for advertising reasons.
